Written Concept
The inspiration from the artwork came from the sister city relationship.It is supposed to resemble two hands coming together to make a full circle kind of like the teamwork to form the sister city relationship,my sculpture in 9 ft tall and 9 ft in width.The materials are wood and metal because they will last long and are strong.When someone sees the artwork i want it to remind them of how important it is to honor our sister city relationship.The meaning of the sculpture is how we work together to form and improve the sister city relationship.The artwork enhances the location,i think it fills it in and helps bring decoration to it.
